This was a fun but odd one… AKQA had Inter Miami FC as a client - they wanted to sign Lionel Messi. They briefed me to write a film that would convince Messi to sign for them - to sell him on the club, city, fans, culture and his potential impact on the US game. Zero production budget, just using found footage. A film with an intended audience of one.

So I set it in the future, with an old Miamian looking back, reminiscing on Messi’s arrival, experience and impact.

And Messi signed for Inter Miami FC.
