Room Cup
When lockdown struck, pro athletes craved competition and the public wanted exercise. So we created The Living Room Cup to get the world moving.
Each week, an elite athlete used instagram to throw down a training challenge, inviting the world to compete and benchmark themselves against the elite. Participants tracked their progress via the Nike Training Club app and shared their efforts on social media. The Living Room Cup was part of Nike’s #PlayInside campaign, lasted 8 weeks and reached a crescendo with All Star Week which saw a challenge thrown down each day by a different champion athlete… then we were all allowed out a bit more…
We arrived at a regular cadence of introducing the athlete and their challenge… the next day, the athlete shared their attempt…
at the end of the week we re-capped the community’s efforts with UCG highlights before teeing up the next weeks athlete.
